THE BEATITUDES

  • Blessed are the poor in spirit; the kingdom of god is theirs.
  • 2. Blessed are the gentle; they shall have the Earth as their inheritance.
  • 3. Blessed are those who mourn; they shall be comforted.
  • 4. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for uprightness; for they shall have their fill.
  • 5. Blessed are the merciful; they shall have mercy shown to them.
  • 6. Blessed are the pure in heart; they shall see God.
  • 7. Blessed are the peace makers; they shall be recognized as children of God.
  • 8. Blessed are those who are persecuted in the course of uprightness, the kingdom of heaven is theirs. “

BEATITUDE VALUES

  • 1. Putting trust in god not things
  • 2. Humility in all we do; non-violence.
  • 3. Getting involved, helping downtrodden; working for the equality of people.
  • 4. Patient suffering and enduring hardships reap their reward
  • 5. Mercy and forgiveness.
  • 6. Loving God with ones, whole heart, whole mind, and whole soul.
  • 7. Peacemaking; loving those who are hard to love.
  • 8. Being willing to suffer for the right thing even if abused verbally or physically; accepting the consequences of living a good life.

Beatitudes of today

  • 1. Blessed are you in poverty: you are not shut in the false world of convention, riches, human society.
  • 2. Blessed are you because you are gentle, you refuse violence and aggressiveness.
  • 3. Blessed are you who you will be heard.
  • 4. Blessed are you because you hunger and thirst for justice; your heart beats in rhythm of the heart of Jesus
  • 5. Blessed are you because you are merciful; you attach your heart to misery; you will receive mercy
  • 6. Blessed are you because your pure in heart; you don’t accept compromises
  • 7. Blessed are you because at all times and every moment you want to be an instrument of peace; seeking reconciliation above all things
  • 8. Blessed are you have allowed your own conscience to develop; you have accepted persecution; you have not been afraid to proclaim the truth.

reflection

At the start of the term i didnt know what SPJ was, then once i got to know that it was secondlife i nkew this would be good!!, and it was we had fun working with photo shop and figuring out how to use it . At first i didnt knowhow to use photoshop that well to create a shirt for my avatar for anything, now after the first term of Secondlifew i can use photoshop heaps good for a starter for alot of things now as well as other subjects. My experience so far with secondlife was good and i had fun in the lessons but I still have to upload my shirt on secondlife.

I have learnt soo much in this second life term.

The dalai lama is the religous leader of the buddist rekigion and is believed to be the 14 th reincarnation of the buddha himself.
2.) Evaluate how the actions of the Dalai Lama in regard to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as
exemplary  moral integrity.

The actions of the dalai lama are example of exemplary moral integrity because he is willing to step down as his position as tibetan ruler just to stand up for what is right and his faith.

Moral integrity  is where you always follow and stand by your moral beliefs and ethics.
2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.
Maximillian Kolbe has exemplary  moral integrity beacause he had the strength in his christian beliefs  that he gave his own life for the sake of others. this shows how stong minded and how much faith he had in his religion.
3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz.

he had courage to stand up for what is right 

 he had the faith to give his own life for his religion.
4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings.
he made the right descision because he ahd died for the sake of other people just as jesus died on the cross for the entire world.

1.) Describe the term ‘interactive TV’.

Interactive tv is where you take control of what you watch and when.
2.) Explain the reasons why interactive TV is now called TV 2.0.

2.0 means the next generation of tv, meaning the 2nd generation of television.
3.) Outline the positives and negatives of implementing interactive TV.

The positives of interactive t.v is that you can watch what you want to and when.

You can also how much you pay because you only pay for what you watch.
4.) Apple released recently Apple TV – Take 2. Describe the reasons why it needed to be changed.
It needed to be changed because it is too expensive

you have to buy seperate cables for it

It is not worth the money you pay for it.

Youtube is a good way of digital media advertising because it is hugely popular nad you will get a lot of publicity from it.

It has changed the current boundaries of media such as news, advertising ect. because while everyone is looking at thier page there is always advertisments a the side of news websites and products.

1.) Define the term ‘digital media’.

digital media is media and files which can be accessed  over the internet and word files. it is also movie’s, videos and music.

2.) How has digital media evolved over the last 5-10 years?

It has changed by advancments in software and technology enabling us to store more files, pay less for internet and work at a more efficient rate.

3.) Discuss the reasons why digital newspapers are extremely popular?

People can access digital newspapers easier then ordinary news papers because now we use the internet more and while working we can check the latest news updates.

I would call the police immediately and tell them what carriage number it was and the location. After

that i would try and stop the bashing by luring them away from the old man.

I would simply say no because my personal safety is more important than a girl liking me. Also i would most probably get caught by the police if i went.Then her parents would not  me see her anyway.
